Karonat - Cornice Plaster

It is a building plaster used in the production of decorative materials such as carton-pierre, core, niche, jamb and sculpture. KARONAT can be used both in plaster moulding and pasting the plasters.

SURFACE AND ENVIRONMENT DURING THE APPLICATION
-It must be free from dirty materials such as dust, oil, paint. -Extremely dry, hot and highly absorbent surfaces should be moistened with water. -The surface of the ceilings should be roughened before applying the plaster or primed with a material that allows the mortar to stick to the surface. There should not be air flow or circulation in the environment during the application.-Application temperature should be between +5 and +40 C.

APPLICATION
6,5 – 7 liters of water is poured into the mortarboard in order to mix, and Karonat Moulding Plaster is added by sprinkling. It is awaited about 2-3 minutes to make sure the plaster absorbs the water. It is mixed with a hand mixer or trowel until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. The prepared mortar is poured into the mold that has been lubricated beforehand. After a layer is poured, fiber is laid on the plaster to increase the flexibility and strength of the mold. Plaster is poured over the laid fiber again. The plaster poured into the mold will begin to heat up after a while. The plaster, which heated cooled, leaves from the mold after a while. The plaster removed from the mold leaves to dry for a while with room temperature before the installation.

Polypropylene bag 30 kg (+- 2%)

STORAGE
Maximum 20 bags should be stockpiled on top of each other in a dry place, and the bags should be stored in such a way that they do not come into contact with the ground and protected from moisture and condensation. It should be used within 9 months from the date of manufacture.
